MediSked is excited to present an in-depth session, Technology, Value Based Payment, Quality Measures, and More, at the InterAgency Council of Developmental Disabilities Agencies’ (IAC) Managed Care Training Series. IAC is the largest provider association in New York for non-profit agencies that support individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
As more states move to integrate individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities into the managed care model, it is important for providers to be aware of the changes. Three MediSked experts will share an overview of the national regulatory landscape before delving into a case study of how New York is approaching a transition to managed care. The presenters will then provide a deep dive into data collection and metrics strategies, which is at the heart of managed care, as well as the basis for value based payments. The transition to managed care requires a heavy level of health information technology to bring everything together. The presenters will share the features that care coordination systems must include to be successful in the new environment.
