The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) created a new resource that provides information to individuals about how to use their health records.
Every person has a legal right to view their health records, but navigating the process is often tricky as most people see various providers in different practices and locations. Ensuring your providers have access to your health history can result in the provision of better care and knowledge of your records can position you as a better self-advocate. ONC’s great new resource, The Guide to Getting & Using Your Health Records, offers a comprehensive view into how the process of obtaining, reviewing, and utilizing your health records really works.
Using MediSked to View Your Records
